Senior Product Owner – Investment & Trading Platforms

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Owner to lead the strategy, execution, and delivery of key initiatives across a portfolio of investment and trading applications. This individual will play a critical role in defining product vision, managing agile workflows, overseeing platform integrations, and guiding cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals. The ideal candidate brings deep product ownership expertise within financial services, strong vendor management skills, and a proven ability to deliver results in complex, fast-moving environments.

Key Responsibilities

Own and articulate the product vision and roadmap for a portfolio of investment and trading applications, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
Serve as the primary Agile Product Owner, managing product backlogs, defining sprint strategies, and facilitating daily stand-ups.
Lead strategic initiatives, including the design and implementation of an internal Investment Policy Statement for managed accounts.
Oversee the integration of a new Proxy Voting platform, collaborating with external vendors and internal partners.
Drive the migration to an updated Option Strategy order entry system, ensuring minimal disruption and smooth transition.
Facilitate discovery sessions to prepare for high-priority work in 2026 and beyond.
Identify and manage dependencies with internal teams and third-party vendors, including intake submissions and contract coordination.
Proactively assess risks related to ongoing initiatives, propose solutions, and escalate issues when necessary.
Prioritize and refine product backlogs to maximize value delivery.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Agile Product Owner, ideally within financial services, investment management, or financial technology environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex initiatives from concept to execution.
Strong vendor management skills with experience in negotiating, engaging, and partnering for results.
Expertise in backlog management, sprint planning, dependency resolution, and risk mitigation.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business domains.
Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, process improvement, and continuous delivery.
