    Job Description

    We are looking for a Project Manager with a background in Electric utility, Trans Line, Forestry, Environmental and Regulatory. This is a long term project, potentially 5+ years.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating assigned project activities.
    • Support and hold employees and contractors accountable for the client System Safety Process, ensuring a safe working environment focused on Zero Harm.
    • Develop, review and coordinate the project plan, schedule, budget, tools, and staff.
    • Perform coordination role as assigned to increase awareness in all knowledge areas of project plans.
    • Communicate project details and status updates. Lead planning meetings and project/outage updates with supportive role in stakeholder presentations. Provide written and oral reports and other communication.
    • Develop working relationships with the project team, plant and operating company staff, internal and external customers or partners, contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Foster teamwork and seek customer satisfaction.
    • Provide guidance and feedback, to improve design, systems, procedures, schedules, and costs.
    • Provide specific guidance in these areas and begins to challenge others at an apprentice level of informed understanding in all project work.
    • Ensure, or assist the lead PM in ensuring, efficient and timely performance of project work activities. Proficient and effective in assisting the lead PM and/or delivers similarly when leading intermediate projects on their own.
    • Develop and manage procurement plans for necessary outside resources.
    • Conduct or assist in closeout processes, including an analysis of the success of the project with respect to accomplishing the project objectives and realizing project benefits.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Qualified experience includes outage management activities, business administration, major construction field experience, project estimating, controls, and engineering, and/or comparable experience in a competitive production environment.
    • Knowledge in construction safety, negotiations, scope development/control, cost estimating, construction contracting, project controls/reporting, and quality control are beneficial.
    • Experience in utilities or power systems.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, project management, or related field of study with 3 years qualified experience, or two-year Associate’s degree in the same disciplines with 5 years of qualified experience.

    Preferred:

    • PMP certification is preferred.
    • Knowledge of P6 and PMBOK
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.

    Electrical Engineer – Substation Asset Management & Commissioning
    Roanoke, VA (Local/Onsite)

    W2 contract role with potential to convert
    Schedule: M-F 8:00-5:00pm
    Pay Rate: $52.40/hourly

    Job Summary:
    Responsible for performing intermediate level engineering work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives. Be responsible for performing pre- and post-energization reviews.

    • Perform pre- and post-energization reviews.
    • Monitor Power BI data for projects three weeks from energization.
    • Utilize prints, outage request data, attestation reports and asset database.
    • Utilize proposed energization dates to review assets that are scheduled to go in service.
    • Ensure that the station assets have been properly attested to before going in service.
    • Monitor the IPS asset database to ensure all assets scheduled to go in service are documented.
    • Monitor the IPS asset database after energization to ensure asset status reflects “In Service.”
    • Mark assets in IPS asset database that should have been removed as “Retired.”
    • Verify with field personnel that assets have been removed from the station .
    • Discard assets from IPS asset database, if assets have been removed from station.
    • Document reviews in SharePoint.
    • Work effectively with other team members.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET* along with two or more years of related engineering experience.
    • Individuals with a Master’s degree in engineering from an engineering program accredited by ABET* may be considered for entry into the organization at this level.
    • Individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology can satisfy this degree requirement, if they have obtained a certified Professional Engineering (PE) license in current standing.

    Secondary Locations: Columbus, OH; Tulsa, OK
    Work Schedule: Onsite Monday–Friday (effective September 14, 2026)
    Training: Remote during the first month only, beginning the week of August 10, 2026
    Residency Requirement: Must reside within 50 miles of the assigned office location.
    W2 Rate – $40-48/hr depending on experience

    Required: This is on the Corporate side – this is NOT within IT

    Required Qualifications

        • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
        • Minimum 5 years of corporate recruiting experience.
        • This is NOT an IT Recruiter role – this role is focused on Professional exempt roles such as engineering + project management hiring
          • Management-level positions
          • Examples include:
            • Engineers
            • Project managers
            • Other technical and non-technical corporate roles
        • Experience recruiting professional and management-level roles.
        • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and online recruiting platforms.
        • Strong communication, interviewing, and stakeholder management skills.
        • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.

    Preferred Skills

      • Experience with diversity recruiting and affirmative action planning.
      • Strong relationship management and consulting skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
      • Experience with onboarding and candidate experience improvement.
