    Candidates should be willing to work on our W2 ONLY.

    Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer

    Role Type: W2 only

    Duration: 12 months

    Location: Riverwoods, IL,

    Schedule: Hybrid

    Job Summary:

    We are looking for an experience AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure on Amazon Web services (AWS). You will work closely with various departments to ensure that the cloud infrastructure meets business, security, and compliance standards.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Design and deploy applications utilizing the AWS stack (including EC2, Route53, S3, Lambda, etc.) to build scalable, secure, and robust cloud solutions.
    2. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Jenkins sand Ansible.
    3. Collaborate with various teams to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, and automate processes
    4. Implement cost-control strategies and ensure optimal usage across all of our AWS environments.
    5. Provide cloud support and make recommendations based on client needs.
    6. Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.

    Must-Haves:

    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with cloud infrastructure
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible
    • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog and Splunk
    • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Jenkins, Python, Bash)
    • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and more etc.
    • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking concepts and design principles
    • Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments

    Nice To Have

    • AWS certifications.
    • Familiarity with cloud cost optimization techniques
    • Knowledge of FinOps principles

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a GCP Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Python/Bash scripting, and GCP services such as VertexAI, BigQuery, and Google API Services. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, security, networking, and automation tools, and includes collaboration with cross-functional teams to support cloud and AI/ML initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, build, and maintain modular cloud-based systems using GCP technologies.
    • Implement and manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration automation.
    • Enforce security standards and optimize cloud resource utilization.
    • Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline development and process automation.
    • Support AI and machine learning platform initiatives (e.g., VertexAI).
    • Provide ongoing cloud support and strategic recommendations.
    • Diagnose and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities and deployment issues.

    Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

    • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
    • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog and Splunk.
    • Skilled in automation scripting (e.g., Jenkins, Python, Bash).
    • In-depth knowledge of GCP services such as:
      • VertexAI
      • Google API Services
      • BigQuery
      • Private Google Access (PGA)
    • Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and design principles.
    • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.

    Nice-to-Have:

    • Familiarity with Palo Alto network security solutions.
    • GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect).
    • Deep understanding of Private Google Access (PGA) implementation.
