    Project Manager
    Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid: Onsite Tues-Thurs)
    Duration: 12+ Months with opportunity to convert to perm
    Role Type: W2 contract engagement

    Role Summary

    The Project Manager II will be responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget. They will manage project scope, timelines, and resources, and will be accountable for all aspects of the project lifecycle.

    Responsibilities

    • Leading project meetings, coordinating with team members, managing project documentation, and addressing any issues that arise.
    • The PM will also be responsible for communicating project status to stakeholders and ensuring alignment with project goals.
    • Will support a team of approximately 10-15 members, including developers, business analysts, and testers. Key players include the project sponsor, department heads, and other senior stakeholders.
    • This role will primarily support internal business customers.
    • The work environment is highly collaborative and supportive, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and open communication.

    Key Requirements

    • The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of direct project management experience, with an additional 5-10 years of PM or PM-adjacent experience such as PMO, BA, Test Lead, etc.
    • Experience with commercial off the shelf software deployment projects, including integration with legacy systems. 
    • Strong financial management background, including actuals/variance analysis, forecasting, etc. 
    • Experience with project management tools and software including Microsoft Project, Office 365, Confluence, SPM/ServiceNow, etc.
    • Strong verbal and written communication.
    • Ability to run meetings and workshops effectively.
    • Ability to summarize and visualize project information into engaging and illustrative executive summaries.
    • Creative problem-solving.
    • Proven leadership and positive, engaging attitude.

    Preferred:

    • Previous utility industry experience is preferred.
    • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
    • Accrual-based accounting experience is preferred but not required.
    • Vendor management, including RFP experience preferred.

    This contingent assignment supports the Information Security team through data analytics, reporting, and metrics development. The selected candidate will analyze security-related data, develop dashboards and reports, and provide insights that support risk management, compliance, and executive decision-making.

    This role focuses on security metrics, reporting automation, and analytical support rather than hands-on security engineering or control implementation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze and interpret security data to identify trends, risks, and performance indicators.

    Job Description:

    Job Description:

    Our client is seeking a Lead Project Manager for the Talent Acquisition (TA) Transformation & Innovation Team to support technology modernization across Talent Acquisition workstreams. This role will initially focus on implementing HiredScore—an AI driven tool that enhances candidate ranking, rediscovery, and internal mobility—while also providing support to additional workstreams as needed. The Lead Project Manager will partner with TA leaders, sponsors, and cross functional teams to drive timely execution of initiatives, ensuring alignment with change management governance and delivery of key business outcomes.

    In this role, you will:

    • Lead project management for Talent Acquisition (TA) technology transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
    • Serve as the dedicated project lead for the HiredScore implementation workstream, overseeing planning, execution, risk management, and delivery.
    • Coordinate across multiple talent acquisition technology workstreams, providing project support, issue resolution, and cross functional alignment as needed.
    • Partner closely with TA leaders, business sponsors, HR partners, and technology teams to drive effective collaboration and decision-making.
    • Manage project governance activities, including status reporting, resource coordination, documentation, and escalation pathways.
    • Ensure adherence to established change management processes to support successful adoption and business readiness.
    • Monitor progress toward key milestones and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of Project Management and Methodologies, Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, ideally within a large, matrixed organization
    • Strong program/project management capabilities with the ability to manage detailed plans, risks, and cross functional dependencies.
    • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale Talent Acquisition projects or programs, including cross-functional alignment, execution oversight, and measurable impact on recruiting operations and outcomes
    • Hands on experience implementing HR or TA technologies (ATS, CRM, AI based sourcing/matching tools, workflow automation tools, etc.).
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to create clear, compelling presentations and tell the story through visuals and narrative.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to connect concepts across multiple workstreams and distill complexity.
    • Experience with HR Recruiting tools/technology transformation (Applicant Tracking System, Candidate Relationship Management, automation tools, conversational AI, sourcing technology, workflow modernization).
    • Familiarity with AI driven talent platforms such as HiredScore, Eightfold, HireVue, or similar machine learning based recruiting technologies.
