Well Lifecycle Data & Reporting Analyst

Location: Midland, TX
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate:$35-$45/hr

This position provides technical and data support for engineering projects and day-to-day operations of the Well Life Cycle Management team. The role spans responsibilities from foundational data management and system support to advanced reporting, analytics, and performance visualization.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in oil & gas well data systems, with strong Power BI and Excel capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create jobs and perform data entry in Wellview to support daily operational activities

• Maintain and manage data quality in Wellview and associated work order systems

• Support work order system data integrity and troubleshooting

• Develop and maintain wellbore schematics using Microsoft Excel

• Assist with performance reporting and data analysis using Power BI

• Support engineering and operations teams through accurate data reporting and insights

• Identify data gaps and recommend improvements to reporting and workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on:

  • Power BI

  • Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data visualization)

  • Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint

• Strong data management and data entry experience

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Wellview

  • Work order management systems

• Ability to perform data analysis using Wellview and/or Power BI
