    Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an IT Asset Management Analyst for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in Topeka, KS!

    Title: IT Asset Management Analyst (Warehouse support)
    Location: Topeka, KS (Onsite M-F)
    Duration: 6+ Months with extension
    Pay Rate: up to $24.16/HR maximum

    *Must Have a Valid Driver’s License for this position. This is a NERC CIP position and candidate will be required to complete the NERC CIP screening requirements.


    Job Description

    This is a warehouse position where candidate will be working on-site in a warehouse. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience and experience with the use of ticketing system or other inventory management system. This is not a highly technical role, but if candidate has prior IT experience in addition to warehouse they may be considered.

    • Responsible for on-going warehouse operationsof the IT life-cycle process for hardware technology assets throughout the organization. Supports the ITAM practice in helping to mitigate financial and/or legal risks associated to vendor compliance, identify potential cost savings opportunities relating to hardware & support, & help improve our negotiating position with vendors.
    • 50% Responsible for shipping, receiving, distributing, tracking, and reconciling POs or service requests, for all IT asset hardware.
    • Facilitate data disposition and follow all NERC/CIP regulatory requirements for hardware asset management.
    • Acts as a conduit between ITAM & other departments to provide timely access to IT hardware deployment & related accessories.
    • Assists with the operations of division policies, processes, & procedures for effective hardware lifecycle management (acquisition through retirement or re-use) leveraging the Asset Manager solution & help ensure company adoption.
    • IT data analysis techniques (using Excel, PeopleSoft, and ServiceNow).
    • Ability to prioritize system generated (ServiceNow) tasks based on criticality & meet deadline.

    Mandatory Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent and 1 years recent experience in a warehouse environment.
    • Ability to occasionally be required to stand, walk or sit for prolonged periods of time, & may also have to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
    • Ability to lift/move/carry between 10 – 50 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.

    Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an IT Asset Management Specialist for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in Topeka, KS!

    Title: IT Asset Management (Warehouse support)
    Location: Topeka, KS (Onsite M-F)
    Duration: 6+ Months with extension
    Pay Rate: up to $20.13/HR maximum

    *Must Have a Valid Driver’s License with clean driving history to be considered. This is a NERC CIP position and candidate will be required to complete the NERC CIP screening requirements.

    Job Description

    This is a warehouse support position where the candidate will spend 80 percent of time DRIVING AND TRANSPORTING equipment to various client locations (All same day trips). The remaining 20 percent will be working on-site in a warehouse. Candidate will be required to drive a company vehicle to deliver equipment to other locations as needed.

    • With general supervision, the IT Asset Management Support I is responsible for the physical delivery of IT hardware throughout the organization. Could require candidate to assist with shipping & receiving, distributing, tracking, and reconciling POs or service requests, for all IT asset hardware. Candidate will assist with data disposition and follow all NERC/CIP regulatory requirements for hardware asset management.
    • Candidate will be responsible for transporting (in company vehicle) and delivering goods and/or items to clients or business in a safe, timely manner.
    • Examining and/or reviewing orders before and after delivery to make sure that orders are complete.
    • Helping with the loading and unloading of materials from the delivery vehicle.
    • Building and maintaining a healthy relationship with employees and contractors by answering any questions they may have.
    • Rescheduling deliveries with customers if they are unable to receive them.
    • Giving customers information about delivery schedules.
    • Completing and submitting logs and reports as needed.

    Mandatory Requirements:

    • Must have a valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
    • Requires a High School Diploma + 2 years experience preferred.
    • Ability to lift/move /carry between 10-50 pounds if required and perform the other essential job functions. Prior delivery/driving experience is preferred.
    • This is an on-site position. Some OT is available.

    Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Project Controls Analyst for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

    Job Title: Project Controls Analyst
    Role Type: W2 only
    Duration: 12 months
    Location: Topeka, KS
    Schedule: Hybrid

    Education and Top Skills:

    • The preferred candidate will have a Bachelors degree in business or related field and relevant experience.
    • Must include general finance experience, be proficient in the use of spreadsheet and word process software applications.
    • Related experience should include background in transmission and substation assets.
    • Work experience must support abilities to work independently, assimilate and process diverse information, and communicate effectively with management and stakeholders.
    • Experience using, and proficiency in, Microsoft Project is preferred.

    Job Description

    Under general direction of the Project Controls Manager, serves as an intermediary between engineering, real estate, vegetation management, procurement, and construction to assist in completing transmission and substation projects on time and on budget. Primary focus of the role will be the completion report process, which entails analysis of material, labor, overhead and all other charges against projects. As part of the role, the successful candidate will be creating and entering all reports into a system for review and approval prior to unitizing the assets.

    This role may also entail other portions that include the following:

    Forecast & Budget

    • Assist review process with transmission and substation stakeholders
    • Assist budget development

    Outlook

    • Monthly tracking and variance analysis by project
    • Monthly Capex and O&M reporting to project stakeholders

    Cost Estimation

    • Develop project cost estimates in conjunction with engineering
    • Post construction cost variance review
    • Maintain cost estimate summary

    Work Requests

    • Initiate work requests
    • Timely in-service and completion reporting
    • Journal Entries

    Schedules

    • Assist with schedule development
    • Update weekly progress

    Ad Hoc Reporting – Southwest Power Pool, Regulatory, Data Requests, etc.

    Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

    • Successful candidate must have demonstrated working knowledge of job types and assets being managed and constructed.
    • A good understanding of work and business processes related to budgeting transmission and substation work.
    • Must demonstrate a general understanding of financial reporting and assimilating information for reports. Must be able to work independently and resolve work process issues utilizing analytical thinking, creative problem solving and sound reasoning.
    • Good administrative and technical abilities to deal with large volumes of data and deal with multiple priorities and projects. Requires comprehensive skills in personal computer applications, and preferred knowledge of transmission and substation work and financial system applications.
    • Working knowledge of Windows, databases and spreadsheets required. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to present information to other work groups in a concise manner. Must be able to work effectively with others in a team environment and build relationships with all customers and work groups.
    • Must demonstrate exceptional skills in interpersonal relations, self-motivation and organization.

    Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required:

    Must possess a valid driver’s license.
