    Position Summary

    The Category Manager will lead category and contracting strategies for our Wells Abandonment operations (land and offshore). This role is responsible for developing category plans, executing strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiating and managing contracts, optimizing spend, and building productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will deliver measurable value by ensuring operational excellence, supplier performance, and total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute category strategies and sourcing initiatives that align with business goals for Wells Abandonment operations.
    • Partner closely with technical and operational teams to address needs, add value, and ensure optimized supply chain performance.
    • Lead sourcing events, prepare and evaluate bid documentation, and oversee supplier selection and onboarding.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters, from negotiation through contract closeout.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and exhibits in collaboration with Legal and other cross-functional partners.
    • Monitor supplier and contractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, resolving disputes or deviations as needed.
    • Prepare and present reports, analyses, and recommendations for management review and approval.
    • Drive process improvements with suppliers and internal teams to achieve lowest TCO and enhance overall performance.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 7+ years of progressive experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or contract management.
    • Proven track record developing category and contract strategies and achieving measurable cost optimization.
    • Strong experience conducting negotiations and managing supplier performance through metrics such as SQMs, ASRs, and balanced scorecards.
    • Working knowledge of Drilling and Completions services, commodities, and contractual agreements.
    • Well Abandonment (Plug & Abandon/Workovers) experience strongly preferred.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret market intelligence and supplier performance data to drive sound business decisions.
    • Proficiency with SMART systems and Power BI.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence across teams and manage performance within a collaborative, matrixed environment.

  • Business Analyst V

    Business Analyst (Legal Technology)

    Location:  Houston, TX (Onsite)
    Duration:  12 Month Contract
    Pay:  $75/hr W2 ONLY

    Overview:
    We are seeking an experienced, proactive Business Analyst to support our legal technology platforms, including DocuSign and Ironclad. This role requires a self-starter who can drive process improvements, manage complex workflows, and collaborate across teams to deliver impactful solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze and optimize legal processes and contracting workflows.
    • Gather, document, and validate business requirements and user stories.
    • Configure, test, and maintain CLM tools (primarily Ironclad) and related platforms.
    • Experience in Docusign, specifically as an admin
    • Provide training, support, and performance monitoring for legal technology solutions.
    • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
    • Manage multiple initiatives in an Agile environment and groom backlog as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in legal or contracting domains.
    • Expertise with CLM tools (Ironclad), DocuSign, and process automation.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., ADO).
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.

    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
    • Comfortable learning new platforms and driving continuous improvement.
    • Skilled at translating complex requirements into actionable solutions.
