    Associate Network Engineer with Data Integrity

    • An entry-level data engineer typically has a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with 2-3 years’ experience in Cisco router & switch technology.   
    • Work on data engineering projects under the guidance of more experienced data engineers.
    • Procure hardware necessary to complete assigned project.
    • Configure and deploy routers and switches using provisioning templates.
    • Maintain data integrity in data network management tools like SolarWinds and ISE.
    • Provision and deploy Cisco wireless hardware.
    • Configure out of band terminal servers.
    • Review the accuracy of drawings with as built network.
    • Audit third party WAN circuits to determine opportunities for cost savings.
    • They may work on more complex projects and have more responsibility for designing and implementing data solutions.
    • Prepare engineering job packages consisting of BOM equipment lists, network diagrams installation instructions.
    • Able to troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to network changes.
      Responsible for implementing intermediate level changes, commissioning routers at substations and operation centers.
    • Experience with Cisco Telephony technologies, primarily Cisco Call Manager DID provisioning
    • Developed expertise in in one or more programming languages.
