    Job Title: Digital Product Owner
    Location: Colorado Springs, CO
    Work Type: W2
    Duration: 12 Months 
    Pay Rate: $50-$55/hour 

    Role Overview

    Represents business stakeholders to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine and communicate business needs, so that business and/or technical delivery teams can build effective solutions. 


    Core Skills & Qualifications (Skills-Based Hiring Focus)

    • Utilizes a proficient understanding of customer needs, as well as business vision and strategy, to prioritize investment, business value and delivery.
    • Works within multiple evolving development methodologies including iterative Agile and sequential Waterfall programs and projects, and variations thereof.
    • Serves as the business requirements expert, engaging and managing the work of subject matter specialists from the business. Serves as the day to day decision maker and provides continual business guidance for the execution team.
    • Prioritizes the execution team’s work so that it aligns with the sponsor’s/business executive’s strategies.
    • Leads, manages or orchestrates activities for completion and proper documentation of business requirements and validating metrics as appropriate for methodology and Enterprise controls.
    • Works with the business and IT delivery teams to identify and mitigate risks to include business operational risks. Escalates issues and develops and recommends appropriate solutions.
    • Works with different technologies (infrastructure, mobile, MSR-facing), and/or with vendor partnerships or software. Serves as a subject matter resource in a particular business or system domain, as necessary.
    • Identifies, engages and influences business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts. Works with business and Enterprise stakeholders to understand and validate business strategy and vision, and customer needs.
    • Partners with sponsors, stakeholders, and IT to facilitate, define and document relevant business processes, gaining a proficient understanding of the needs, measures, and risks & controls for the improvement area. Serves as direct representative of the business with delivery teams, representing/reinforcing the customers’ perspective throughout the product realization cycle.
    • Works with the business process owners to develop metrics to manage and track benefits, adoption and risks to operations. Assists with project level plans related to schedule, scope and resources. Leads, collaborates with, and motivates a cross-functional team of user experience partners, designers, business analysts, developers, testers and others to develop, execute and release in alignment with program and/or product roadmaps.
    • Manages, prioritizes, and assesses the impact of all work items, such as new features, defects, etc., including providing the decision to create, fix or defer at the project level. Reviews, and when appropriate, accepts and prioritizes feedback and new requirements from stakeholder.
    • Reviews and accepts or declines output of development to ensure specified acceptance criteria have been completed. Prepares the business for the change and arms them with tactics and metrics for benefits, adoption, and risk. Assists with coaching less experienced DPOs and team members

    Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

    Role Type: Fulltime/Direct Hire

    Pay:  $150,000 – $180,000/hr – Full Time

    Job Description:

    This position is for our client that is a growing specialty insurance broker and captive insurance company manager. This full-time employee will be responsible for working with the latest technologies and building innovative products for our resident liability clients. This candidate will work with Ruby on Rails for back-end development and has a strong understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL.

    Essential Functions & Duties:

    • Work in a small team environment in full life cycle software development to architect, build, and maintain Ruby on Rails and React code
    • Assist with the management of applications to ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, prototype, and implement new applications features and functionality
    • Build and maintain web apps and 3rd party integrations utilizing APIs and/or data mapping
    • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
    • Participate in code reviews to maintain a high-quality code culture
    • Provide consultative advice to colleagues and clients
    • Other duties and special projects as required/needed

    Qualifications

    • MS/BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, and 5+ years relevant programming experience.
    • Strong knowledge of OOP and reusable coding practices
    • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
    • Proficient in Ruby on Rails and experience with React and frontend development and JavaScript
    • Experience with PostgreSQL and a deep understanding of relational databases
    • Experience with creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
    • Experience with serverless environments, microservices, and RESTful APIs

    We are seeking an experienced Penetration Tester to conduct comprehensive security assessments of enterprise web applications. This role focuses on identifying exploitable vulnerabilities, validating the effectiveness of existing security controls, and delivering actionable remediation guidance to strengthen the organization’s application security posture within a regulated financial services environment.

    The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on technical testing skills with the ability to clearly communicate risk to both technical and executive stakeholders.

    Scope of Work

    • Perform scoped penetration testing on designated web applications and supporting components.
    • Identify, validate, and exploit vulnerabilities across:
      • Authentication and authorization mechanisms
      • Input validation and data handling
      • Session management
      • API endpoints and third-party integrations
      • Business logic and workflow flaws
    • Assess applications against OWASP Top 10 and other applicable security standards and best practices.
    • Conduct manual penetration testing, supplemented by automated tooling where appropriate.
    • Analyze and prioritize findings based on impact, exploitability, and likelihood, aligned with Western Union risk rating methodologies.
    • Collaborate with application, security, and engineering teams to clarify findings and remediation approaches.

    Reporting & Documentation

    • Produce comprehensive penetration testing reports that include:
      • Executive-level summary of risk and exposure
      • Detailed technical findings with clear reproduction steps
      • Proof-of-concept exploits or attack paths
      • Practical, prioritized remediation recommendations

    Required Qualifications

    • Proven experience conducting web application penetration testing in enterprise or regulated environments.
    • Strong working knowledge of:
      • OWASP Top 10
      • Common web vulnerabilities (SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, authentication flaws, etc.)
      • Business logic vulnerabilities, particularly within financial services applications
    • Familiarity with secure coding practices and modern web frameworks.
    • Proficiency with industry-standard penetration testing tools, including:
      • Burp Suite
      • OWASP ZAP
      • Similar web application security testing tools
    • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, actionable security reports tailored to diverse audiences.

    Deliverables

    Job requirements           

    • 3+ years PSCM (Procurement, Supply Chain and Category Management) experience supporting within Oil/Gas industry, preferably Midstream or Upstream operations
    • Must be experienced in category strategy, demand management, sourcing, supply chain risk, and contract management.
    • Must have prior experience with RFQs (request for quotations)
    • Excellent project management skills and ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder, multi-cultural projects.
    • Familiar with systems like Open Invoice, Ariba, SAP, and tools like Excel and Access is helpful
    • Must have Category Management experience in the following areas:
      • Contract negotiations with Vendors
      • Navigation of core processes within supply chain and procurement (PTP (procure to pay), invoicing, materials purchasing, materials management, payment disputes with vendors)
      • Managing renewals, cost optimization, and vendor performance
      • Able to collaborate with legal and internal business teams with little supervision
    • Must have strong contracts experience and able to develop strategies and then execute

    Education           

    • University Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain, Business, Engineering/technical discipline or equivalent.
    • High school diploma with 8 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
