    Release Manager- LOCAL to CHICAGO AREA

    Setting: Hybrid MUST BE LOCAL
    Contract: 6+months
    Pay Rate: $60-$70/HR

    Job Description:

    The Release Manager manages and coordinates software development, testing, and deployment processes. This role ensures that product releases are delivered on time, within scope, and with minimal disruption to business operations. The Release Manager works closely with development, operations, quality assurance, and project management teams to streamline the release lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Release Planning and Coordination:
      1. Develop release schedules and plans, including dependencies, risks, and mitigations.
      2. Coordinate across teams to ensure smooth execution of releases.
      3. Align releases with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
    2. Release Execution:
      1. Manage and oversee the deployment process in production and non-production environments.
      2. Ensure all changes meet quality and security standards before release.
      3. Conduct release readiness reviews and post-deployment support.
    3. Process Improvement:
      1. Analyze and optimize the release management process.
      2. Implement best practices for continuous integration, delivery, and automation.
      3. Document and maintain release policies, standards, and procedures.
    4. Risk Management:
      1. Identify, track, and mitigate risks associated with releases.
      2. Develop rollback strategies in case of release failures.
    5. Stakeholder Communication:
      1. Act as the main point of contact for release-related activities.
      2. Provide regular updates on release progress and challenges to stakeholders.
      3. Facilitate post-mortems to analyze release performance and outcomes.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Proven experience in release management (minimum 5 years).
    • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
    • Hands-on experience with release management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Git).
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Certification in ITIL, PMP, or similar frameworks is a plus.

    Soft Skills:

    • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Office Services Assistant

    Title: Office Services Assistant
    Location: Bolingbrook, IL (Onsite)
    Duration: 6+ Months
    Role Type: W2 contract engagement
    Pay Rate: $19/HR

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Process all incoming and outgoing deliveries at the corporate office and Mock Store.
    • Process all incoming and outgoing US Mail, FedEx, UPS, and internal mail. Operate automated mailing and shipping equipment.
    • Receive, organize, and transport deliveries via rolling cart, dolly, flat bed, or pallet jack
    • Stock, organize and maintain office, pantry, and coffee/tea supplies for the facility.
    • Assist with general appearance of office, including weekly maintenance checks and reporting all issues to the Facilities Manager so that repairs can be completed in a timely manner.
    • Assist with conference room set up and clean up, including monitoring the conference room schedule and providing meeting support.
    • Assist with special projects and events as needed and directed by the Facilities Manager.
    • Monitors the Corporate Facilities email regularly, responds to customer/client requests via email and in person in a professional manner
    • Identifies and responds to associate issues/problems in a timely manner, seeks feedback/follow-up as appropriate.
    • Builds effective business partnerships with the corporate teams.

    Required Skills:

    • High School Diploma required
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in office services, hospitality, workplace programs, space or floor planning analysis, facilities, and/or site management experience for a large company.
    • Able to work on site 100% of time
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office
    • Comfortable with and embrace new technologies and digital tools, such as apps, databases, financial management, work order management, communications and handheld mobile technologies and applications
    • Physical ability to assist with warehouse operations
    • Excellent communicator, comfortable interacting with all levels of employees, management, and third-party vendors.

    Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Junior Digital Merchandiser for a W2 contract opportunity with one of our clients!

    Job Title: Junior Digital Merchandiser
    Role Type: W2 only
    Duration: 6 months
    Location: Bolingbrook, IL
    Schedule: Hybrid
    W-2 hourly rate: $18-20

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Digital Merchandising Specialist is responsible for assisting the Digital Merchandising team in the delivery of supporting and executing the online merchandising strategy. This role will assist the team to merchandise the site to create an experience that is easy to shop and is relevant. They will assist to ensure categories are positioned competitively online to meet sales, margin, conversion, and customer satisfaction goals. This position will partner with many cross-functional partners including merchandising, digital product, creative design and development teams. The position will report to the Sr Manager Digital Merchandising.

    CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist the Digital Merchandiser event lead with execution of creative and pricing reviews for events.
    • Assist in creation of featured landing pages for events.
    • Assist the Digital Merchandising lead with homepage wireframe creation and ensure completion for creative turnover.
    • Assist with weekly homepage process execution.
    • Research trends, opportunities, and competitors to discover new ways to improve customer experience within assigned product categories.
    • Competitive Insights: Continuously look at trends in site experience and digital merchandising for outside inspiration, as well as across the beauty industry to benchmark against competitors and assist in identifying key opportunities and gaps.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • 1-2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
    • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills with a strong eye for detail.
    • Effective cross-functional collaboration skills.
    • Outstanding communication, organization, time management and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize projects and multitask to get things done.
    • Proactive and eager to constantly seek out opportunities to make an impact.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
