Senior Healthcare Information Analyst
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Informatics Analyst with strong experience in pharmacy analytics to support data-driven decision making related to pharmacy utilization, cost, and clinical outcomes.
This role will partner across clinical, finance, actuarial, and IT teams to deliver insights that improve pharmacy benefit performance and optimize overall healthcare outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze pharmacy claims data to identify trends in utilization, cost, and outcomes
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and predictive models
- Support formulary performance, drug cost optimization, and medication adherence initiatives
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and compliance with healthcare regulations
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of healthcare analytics experience
- Experience working with pharmacy or PBM data
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy claims, utilization trends, and cost drivers
- Proficiency in one or more: SQL, SAS, Python, or R
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or similar)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare payer environment
- Knowledge of:
- Pharmacy pricing models (AWP, WAC, rebates)
- Medication adherence metrics (PDC, MPR)
- HEDIS / STAR measures
- Experience building predictive or statistical models
- Advanced SAS experience (including Enterprise Miner)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Analytics, Healthcare, Statistics, etc.) required
- Advanced degree preferred
