Pay Rate: $80/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Utilities Project Manager to oversee and manage multiple technology projects within the Telecommunications and IT infrastructure domain. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects aligned with company goals, with a strong emphasis on scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and stakeholder communication. The position is hybrid, requiring on-site presence Tuesday through Thursday at one of several regional offices.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for IT and Telecommunications initiatives ranging from $100K to $50M.

Oversee internal and external project contributors including engineering, construction, operations, legal, and supply chain.

Coordinate and run project meetings, status updates, and executive-level reporting.

Develop and manage detailed project plans including scope, schedule, costs, risk mitigation, communication, and quality control.

Ensure all deliverables meet compliance, environmental, and safety standards.

Interface with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and status.

Support planning and implementation of network and telecommunications infrastructure (e.g., data centers, Cisco WAN/LAN, etc.).

Track and report on multiple teams’ progress and integration points outside of Telecommunications.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum of 10 years of related project management experience.

Proven success managing large-scale, enterprise IT projects.

Experience with both Agile and traditional Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Project Management or Business Administration.

10+ years of Telecommunications experience.

Utility or energy sector experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge of Cisco Routing/Switching, WAN, LAN, and Data Center technologies.

Expertise in project cost control, scheduling tools, and PM software.

Familiarity with construction management and IT infrastructure deployments.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
