Pay Rate: $18-$23/hr
Job Description:
- This role involves facilitating member experiences by answering phone calls, emails, and other requests.
- Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and ability to provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and professionally.
- A successful candidate will be able to apply developing knowledge of personal lines insurance to assist members with quotes, binding new business, rating, policy, billing, payment, underwriting, contract, and coverage provisions.
- Maintaining required Property & Casualty licenses and state registrations is also a key responsibility
- Customer Service Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and professionally with members through phone calls, emails, and other channels to ensure a positive member experience.
- Knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance: Developing knowledge in personal lines insurance, including assisting with quotes, binding new business, policy rating, billing, payments, underwriting, and understanding contract and coverage provisions.
- Licensing and State Registrations: Ability to maintain the required Property & Casualty licenses and state registrations, which is a key responsibility for this role.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy while assisting with policy, billing, payment, and underwriting processes, as well as understanding insurance contracts and coverage.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, including assisting with member inquiries, processing information, and meeting deadlines.
- Adaptability: Willingness to develop and apply knowledge of personal lines insurance and continuously improve in the role, aligning with the company’s focus on ongoing career path planning and continuing education.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for navigating systems related to insurance quoting, policy management, and customer communication.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve member inquiries and issues efficiently, using knowledge of policies and procedures to address various requests related to insurance.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment, supporting both members and internal teams in meeting company goals.
