Cognos Administrator
Charlotte, NC – hybrid in office, 3 days onsite/2 days remote
6 months – W2 Rate $63-65/hr

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience administering IBM Cognos
- 5+ years Windows server administration skills- must be familiar with install on Windows
- 1+ years experience with Apache – fundamental understanding to support integrations
- Must have a foundation in basic networking (DNS, ports, firewalls)
- 3+ years scripting – Python scripting is ideal
- 1 year with GitHub (version control and collaboration) – nice to have
Key Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, and administer IBM Cognos on Windows
- Support Cognos integrations with Apache
- Troubleshoot performance, availability, and production issues
- Develop Python scripts to automate administrative tasks
- Use GitHub for version control and collaboration
- Apply basic networking concepts (DNS, ports, firewalls)
- Maintain documentation and operational procedures
