Senior Engineering Consultant
Location: Iselin, NJ
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $111.00/hr
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Consultant to provide expert-level consulting support for highly complex engineering and IT initiatives. This role will support enterprise-scale transformation efforts, including the migration of all WFT applications to AMA and the decommissioning of legacy Cutover systems.
The ideal candidate brings deep engineering expertise, strong strategic thinking, and the ability to influence long-term, large-scale solutions across multiple technical and business domains.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a senior-level consultant for highly complex business and technical initiatives across Engineering and IT.

Develop, influence, and guide initiatives and resources supporting enterprise modernization and system migration efforts.

Consult on the strategy, design, and resolution of unique, multi-domain engineering challenges requiring advanced evaluation and judgment.

Deliver long-term, scalable solutions that require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking.

Provide expert guidance and recommendations to client senior leadership on innovative engineering and business solutions.

Strategically engage with client personnel and cross-functional stakeholders to align objectives and drive execution.

Support large-scale application migrations, platform transitions, and the decommissioning of legacy systems.

Influence engineering direction, standards, and best practices to support future-state architecture and operational goals.
Required Qualifications

7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or more of the following:

Professional work experience

Military experience

Education or formal training

Proven experience working on complex, large-scale engineering or IT initiatives.

Strong ability to consult at a strategic level and influence senior stakeholders.

Demonstrated success solving complex, ambiguous technical challenges across multiple functional areas.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to executive and senior leadership audiences.
