Network Security Admin (NERC CIP background)
12 months – HYBRID ONSITE (5 days/week during deployments)
W2 Rate $28-30/hr – NO CTC NO THIRD PARTY

Position focuses NERC CIP standard requirements
Candidates should be comfortable completing compliance work in a networking environment
NIST/CIS experience would relate, team is not expecting an expert in NERC CIP but someone who at least has an understanding of the standards.
Required Qualifications (2+ years experience)
This is an Admin heavy position
NERCIP BACKGROUND REQUIRED
General networking experience
- Firewall preferred but any network experience will suffice
- OSI model
- TCPI / handshake
- Firewall policy & how it works
- Experience with routing technologies
- Experience working in regulated or critical infrastructure environments
- Experience in a data center strongly preferred
NERCIP background requirements
- ESPS
- EAP (electronic access points)
- Must know how to secure a networking/firewall device
- Will be generating and analyzing information
- Hands-on experience with networking fundamentals, including the OSI model and TCP/IP handshake
- Experience with firewall technologies (preferred) or strong general network administration experience
- Working knowledge of NERC CIP standards, including ESPs and EAPs
- Understanding of firewall policy design and enforcement
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
