- The main function of these positions is patching/upgrading Cisco network equipment (routers /Switches).
- Vulnerability assessments.
REQUIRED SKILLS ANDEXPERIENCE
- 8 years of experience in network management, with a focus on Cisco technologies, WAN, and SDN.
- 8-10 years of experience planning/designing, implementing, and supporting new and existing network devices
- Familiarity with cloud-based network solutions and services
- Experience with Cisco routers, Switches and Wireless Access Points
- Experience patching/upgrading Cisco network equipment (routers /Switches)
- Router/switch configurations/break-fix
- Overall awareness of cloud and compute and storage environments, the industry, vendor management, operations management and ITIL.
Preferred: Load Balancer and SolarWinds experience
Preferred: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly desirable.
Preferred: Experience in managing Data Centers/Architecture and OT
Preferred: Experience in the utility industry or similar environments.
