Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Software Developer to support critical enterprise banking applications within a highly regulated financial environment. This role involves working on moderately complex initiatives, contributing to large-scale planning efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional technology teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in COBOL and core IBM mainframe technologies, along with experience operating in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities

Design, code, test, debug, and document mainframe applications

Participate in moderately complex software engineering initiatives

Analyze and resolve production and application issues

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver enterprise solutions

Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and enterprise standards

Contribute to planning and modernization efforts within the mainframe environment

Leverage AI tooling (e.g., Copilot) to enhance development lifecycle efficiency

4+ years of software engineering experience
