IT Technical Architect (SCADA / OT)
Location: Tampa, FL
Duration: 6 months
Salary: 110k to 130k/ann
We’re seeking a senior-level IT Technical Architect to lead the design and modernization of SCADA and Operational Technology (OT) systems supporting natural gas operations.
What you’ll do:

Own the end-to-end architecture for SCADA, Gas Distribution, and Meter Measurement systems

Design high-availability, secure OT solutions (RTUs, HMIs, PLCs, industrial networks)

Lead system integrations and modernization initiatives

Partner with IT, operations, and vendors to deliver reliable, compliant solutions

Develop technical roadmaps and architectural standards
What we’re looking for:

8+ years in OT/SCADA architecture or engineering

10+ years working with SCADA, PLCs, industrial protocols (Modbus), and OT networks

Strong experience with high-availability and cybersecurity (ISA/IEC 62443)

Solid database skills (SQL, data modeling)

Utility or natural gas industry experience preferred

AVEVA SCADA experience a plus
