Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an IT Business Analyst for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in Detroit, MI!
Title: IT Business Analyst
Location: Detroit, MI – Hybrid schedule
Duration: 12+ Months
Role Type: W2 contract engagement
Job Description:
- Works with the Performance Assurance & Sourcing Office as a Business Analyst
- Responsible for assisting the ITS Manager with ITS Sourcing Excellence initiatives, vendor management, vendor and ITS relationship building
- Responsible for ITS requirements gathering and problem solving
- Creates process maps in Visio and documents processes, Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Job Aids
- Works with IT Vendor partners for the software and hardware renewals, new contracts
- Assists and/or takes ownership in creating performance metrics of the IT vendors and governance
Key Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge and understanding of IT Vendor Management, Procurement Concepts and Managed Services (e.g., Incidents, Requests and Minor Enhancements)
- Knowledge and understanding of ITS concepts
- Ability to understand ITS Managed Services Contracts
- Ability to negotiate
- Proven ability to work with business partners to identify, document and articulate business requirements
- Ability to manage their own work and facilitate requirements gathering meetings
- Strong analytical skills and detailed oriented
- Ability to work on multiple initiatives under tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate positive working relationships among the team
- Ability to work within a team and if needed independently at a very fast paced environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with Leadership
- Experience using SAP (or any other Supply Chain ERP)
- ServiceNow (or any other ITSM Tool)
- Strong background of Microsoft Productivity Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.)
Preferred:
- Undergraduate IT degree
- 10 Years of experience in an IT Procurement capacity or IT Business Analyst Role
- Knowledge of Managed Services contracts
- Hardware and Software license management & IT audits
- Experience in creating vendor scorecards
- Familiarity with IT Asset Management Tools
