Position Overview
This role supports moderately complex initiatives within the Financial Crimes function. The specialist will contribute to large-scale planning efforts, analyze financial crime–related challenges, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver compliant, data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult on and contribute to moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Financial Crimes.
- Participate in large-scale planning efforts related to Financial Crimes programs and controls.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate Financial Crimes challenges that require in-depth assessment of multiple variable factors.
- Support the resolution of moderately complex issues by applying a strong understanding of policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal Financial Crimes stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of objectives.
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and control definition to support Financial Crimes risk management efforts.
- Support testing activities, including coordination, execution, and validation of results.
- Participate in demos, walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions, clearly communicating findings and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, or related areas.
- Experience may be demonstrated through a combination of professional work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Advanced SQL expertise (e.g., SQL Server, Teradata, Hadoop).
- Strong background in data analysis, data profiling, and control definition.
- Experience writing clear and effective business requirements for applications.
- Test coordination and execution experience within regulated or risk-focused environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings through demos and walkthroughs.
