Key Responsibilities

  1. Process Analysis & SME Partnership
  • Partner with Market Risk and Counterparty Risk subject matter experts (SMEs) to:

  • Identify:
    • Manual touchpoints
    • Reconciliation gaps
    • Data lineage issues
    • Opportunities for standardization

    • Aggregation logic
    • Reporting layers
  • Evaluate modernization opportunities such as:
    • Migration of legacy SQL-based processes to modern application frameworks (e.g., Java-based ETL)
    • Consolidation of fragmented reporting workflows into structured infrastructure
  • Ensure solutions:
    • Meet regulatory accuracy and auditability requirements
    • Improve performance, scalability, and control environments
  1. Requirements & Delivery Management
  • Capture detailed business and technical requirements in Jira, including:
    • Epics, features, and user stories
    • Acceptance criteria aligned with regulatory and data validation standards
  • Partner with technology developers to:
    • Refine backlog items
    • Ensure correct interpretation of requirements
    • Support testing and validation
  • Drive end-to-end delivery lifecycle

    • Power BI and Tableau for reporting and insights delivery
  • Leverage these tools to:
    • Reduce manual report generation
    • Enable self-service analytics for stakeholders
    • Improve transparency into risk metrics and reporting outputs
  1. Emerging Technology & AI Adoption
  • Evaluate and recommend use of emerging technologies, including:
    • AI/GenAI copilots for documentation, reconciliation, or anomaly detection
    • Advanced analytics platforms (e.g., Fabric-like ecosystems, semantic layers)
  • Ensure new technologies:
    • Align with enterprise governance and risk standards
    • Provide measurable efficiency or control improvements

Required Qualifications:

Technical Expertise
