Job Title: Business Analyst IT 

Location: Charlotte, NC 

Duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $40 – $45 / HR (W2 Only)

 

Job/Role Description:

  • Responsible for the full lifecycle of reporting, from gathering requirements to developing SQL queries and providing ongoing support.
  • Serves as the primary IT business consultant and interface between business groups and IT teams.
  • Analyzes and understands the work processes of assigned business areas to identify needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Provides technical knowledge to support efficient design, development, implementation, and support of systems, collaborating with programmers to explain and refine solutions.
  • Participates in project implementations to assess impacts on assigned business groups.
  • Conducts regular prioritization and planning sessions with assigned business areas.
  • Ensures overall customer satisfaction through effective communications, analysis, problem resolution, consultation, testing, development of solutions, and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Requires strong problem-solving skills, experience developing and troubleshooting SQL, and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of leadership, business partners, and IT teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. In lieu of a degree, 4 years of related business experience.
  • 1-3 years of related experience in business and/or information technology systems analysis or support, in addition to the degree requirement.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in SQL development, support, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to gather requirements effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, IT management, and teammates.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience explaining technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service orientation and collaborative team-focused approach.
