Job Description:
We are seeking a Platform / Infrastructure Engineer to build, maintain, and secure a highly available, scalable big data and analytics infrastructure. This role is responsible for supporting core platform components, enforcing infrastructure standards, and ensuring system performance, reliability, and security across the environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure and platform services

Support highly available big data ecosystem components including Object Storage, OpenShift, Spark, Iceberg, Yunikorn, and Trino

Monitor and remediate configuration drift while enforcing infrastructure and security policies

Configure, monitor, and optimize big data platform components and integrations with BI and observability tools

Develop automated regression and performance testing suites to validate platform health and stability

Implement and manage security protocols including OAuth authentication, TLS encryption, and role-based access control (RBAC)

Support platform reliability, performance tuning, and operational best practices
Required Qualifications:

Experience supporting large-scale data or platform infrastructure environments

Hands-on experience with containerized or cloud-native platforms (e.g., OpenShift or Kubernetes-based environments)

Experience working with big data technologies such as Spark, Trino, or similar distributed processing/query engines

Strong understanding of infrastructure monitoring, observability, and performance optimization

Experience implementing enterprise security controls (OAuth, TLS, RBAC)
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Iceberg or modern data lake table formats

Experience with resource schedulers such as Yunikorn or similar

Experience building automated testing frameworks for infrastructure or platform validation

Experience integrating BI tools with big data platforms
