Job Title: Application Analyst(PeopleSoft/PeopleTools)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Role Type: W2 contract (NO C2C, No1099)
Job Summary:
- People Tools Upgrade: Coordinate with SME to plan, review and execute below upgrade tasks.
- Pre-Upgrade tasks like reviewing upgrade documentation, taking backups, sysaudit, dddaudit, change assistant configuration, and PUM configuration
- Finding, downloading and installing, configuring, patching:
- App server
- Process scheduler server
- Cobol (install, license, compile, link)
- Search server
- Webserver (PIA and WebLogic)
- Phire server
- nVision server
- Review/update config files
- Installing PeopleSoft on the commissioned servers along with required patches, fixes, and PUM images
- Configure Application Server, Process Scheduler, Web Server
- Execute and Monitor tools upgrade scripts
- Coordinate with application team to retrofit custom objects
- Provide support for unit, system, integration, performance and UAT testing
- Support production cutover tasks with respect to environment setup and readiness
- Running Change Assistant and PUM activities.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for servers, environments, integration broker, web services (integration with UAC), Performance, Testing, Integration with other systems
- Coordinate activities related to Application designer, Data Mover, Config manager, nVision, WebLogic, Tuxedo, Java, OS Patch, certificates, Config files, UAC configuration
- Coordinate with DBA for Work with DBA for quick stats, grants, triggers
- Support post refresh checkouts
- PeopleSoft Containerization: Coordinate with SME to assist with admin activities for PeopleSoft Containerization
