Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Workstation Support – IT person for a contract opening with one of our largest clients located in Charlotte, NC!

This is a Contract Opportunity with our company that MUST be worked on a W2 Only. No C2C eligibility for this position. Visa Sponsorship is Available ! The details are below.

Job Description:

Assigned a geographic region with responsibility to provide technical  trouble shooting and issue resolution (primarily end user hardware, software and infrastructure), asset management, and IT customer liaison for the the Company’s employees and contractors in that area.  Responsible for overall internal customer satisfaction, reliable problem resolution, and adherence to service level agreements. In addition to technical skills, building strong relationships with internal customer base, effectively collaborating with peers and other IT groups, and ensuring the safety of self and others will be key success factors.   

Expected to develop an understanding of internal customer operational and work processes.  Based on their understanding of customer needs and IT products, evaluate and integrate IT products and services into the business areas to meet business needs / requirements, or to gain business process improvements.

Serves as the Local IT lead coordinator for project which include the deployment of IT products, services and applications for customers in their assigned geographic region.  Supports project deployment plans associated with application and equipment roll-outs and upgrades.  Provides technical knowledge and customer education to ensure efficient development, implementation, and support of systems. Provides feedback to IT project teams in an effort to continuously improve solutions offered to internal end users. 

  • Installs, changes, and repairs minor problems of personal computer hardware and software systems, and gives technical assistance and training to system users.
  • Answers client’s inquiries concerning systems operation
  • Diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems; and recommends or performs remedial actions to correct problems based on knowledge of system operation.
  • Requires excellent working knowledge of personal computers and peripherals
