Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Technical Project Manager for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location(s): 100% REMOTE

Role Type: W2 ONLY

Contract Length: 6 months with the potential for extension/conversion.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Oversees end-to-end process of early application testing to provide a seamless experience by serving as a liaison between business and technology organizations.
  • Develops and maintains workplans that consider the priorities, key milestones, time estimates, task sequencing and identification of tasks that may be performed concurrently to achieve objectives.
  • Represents business stakeholders and ensures readiness for application validation tasks
  • Ensures all validation tasks are completed on time
  • Identifies and works to remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful validation of applications.
  • Resolves issues and determines contingency plans and triggers for risks.
  • As needed, escalates issues to appropriate audiences including key business leaders and team members.
  • Partners with matrix organizations to ensure that appropriate action is taken to complete dependent tasks on time
  • Develops and implements communication and reporting mechanisms to manage issues, risks and timely delivery of initiative results.
  • Collaborates with peers, directors, senior directors and senior leadership across business and technology teams, the Dawn Program management and Strategic Execution Office to ensure alignment, understanding of progress and raise and resolve issues and risks.
  • Oversees post-migration activities
  • Manage, monitor, and track post-migration activities, including analyzing and summarizing Helpdesk tickets in partnership with technology and change management teams.
  • Communicate post-migration health to senior leadership.
  • Oversees end-to-end process of group mailbox migration to provide seamless experience by serving as a liaison between business and technology organizations:
  • Lead end-to-end process of group mailbox/ distribution lists branding by partnering with business and technology teams to execute branding changes.
  • Perform data cleansing of large volume of group mailboxes by eliminating duplicates and removing data fields, merging data, populating suggested changes, and obtain business approval.
  • Execute approved changes by coordinating with Exchange Team
  • Design, implement, and maintain business as usual processes to maintain operational continuity of branding for post Project Dawn

Required Qualifications/Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred in Business or Technology
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience, with a proven background successfully in strategic delivery
  • Well-honed consulting skills enabling the individual to work with others to elicit information, to think objectively and analytically and to influence outcomes positively
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written and training, along with excellent presentation skills
  • Fact-based problem solver with the ability to evaluate alternative courses of action and make sound management decisions
  • A constructive approach to problem-solving and a can-do attitude when managing unexpected challenges
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative group
  • Demonstrates ability to lead, influence and problem-solve across various businesses
  • Strong project management skills – Agile-SAFe or PMI certifications desired
  • Weekend work as scheduled for rollouts as required (1 time per month average)
  • Alteryx Core Designer Certification a plus
