Job Title: Technical Project Lead – Azure
Location: Open to 100% remote (Houston onsite preferred)
Pay Rate: $90/hour on W2
Contract Duration: 12 months
This is a Contract Opportunity with our client that MUST be worked on a W2 ONLY, NO C2C eligibility for this position.
Cyber Resiliency: define and create deployment patterns, leveraging Ansible and a 3rd party tool (Rubrik), to enable automated backups of critical data, across a small subset of database types. In future iterations, the intention is to expand the solution to include aspects such as: risk-based data backup and retention policies, monitoring and enforcement, recovery automation, additional database types, and eventually native Azure services.
- 8+ years’ experience, including experience in a Lead role.
- Azure development.
- Azure Services.
- Ansible implementation, infrastructure, and backups.
Client would like to take a feature-based approach to accelerate time-to-value, by focusing on vertical slices of delivery, while reducing risk of resource waste from building a more comprehensive solution out of the gate.
This first phase will focus on the following scope and activities:
- Design & implement immutable data backup Ansible roles for Rubrik data protection automation.
- Expose critical data backup and retention variables to App Owners (supported Rubrik variables).
- Validate processes through MVP (minimal viable product) candidates.
- Utilize existing MVP candidates and app protection data from App Owners.
- Knowledge transfer to the teams that will roll the solution out to Tier 1 apps (and beyond).
