Job Title: Systems Administrator
Duration: 12 Month contract; chance to extend/convert to full time.
Location: Houston, TX (HYBRID)
Pay Rate: $75-80/HR
Industry: Financial Industry
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Windows Systems Administrator, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2012 and later)
- Familiarity with Linux server administration and command-line interface.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Linux+ or equivalent) are a plus.
