Job Title: Sr. Engineer (Security) – Hiring FAST!
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Rate: $70-72/HR
Setting: Hybrid
Duration: 12+ months
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily operational activities for a mobile device testing platform
- Work with customers, vendors, and support teams in a wide array of tasks, including data research, troubleshooting, implementation, maintenance, and decommission of products and services.
- Create and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, infrastructure, products, services, and customers.
- Create and monitor tickets on a wide range of platforms.
- Perform datacenter activities including cabling and racking of equipment.
- Perform VMWare vSphere administration, configuration, and engineering.
- Compile and request firewall rules.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems
- Assist with configuring networking equipment
- Maintain, clean and organize the lab.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be located in the Charlotte regional area to be able to work a 40 hour work week onsite (8am-5pm).
- Expected to work outside of normal working hours based on the needs of a project i.e. 5pm-2am.
- 3+ years Networking and firewall and/or VMWare vSphere Administration and Engineering, must be capable to learn both.
- Windows and Linux server administration
- 2+ years of proficient troubleshooting.
- Highly knowledgeable across a wide spectrum of technologies.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work in a team based environment.
