Title: Data Analyst
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 – Months Contract W2 Only NO C2C!!
Required Skills:
- At least 1 year root cause analysis
- 1+ year fraud detection analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fraud prevention tools
- Microsoft office(Outlook Excel PPT)
- Should have proven experience in database design, data-modelling, SQL server etc.
- Experienced in functional usage of BI tools such as SAS, Tableau, Cognos, Spotfire, Alteryx, Knime etc.
- Has prior experience in building statistical models.
- Usually works with reactive statistical models i.e. develop insights based on historical data such as high performing products in the existing sales mix
- Proficient with productivity tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Analysts are expected to research and perform root cause analysis on member profiles that have experienced fraud, account take over events or member experience feedback.
- Actions that may be required as a part of this process include listening to calls, reviewing session logs and researching member transactions and history.
- Findings from research and root cause analysis must be summarized and communicated with business stakeholders using various communication platforms.
- Works with the management team to create prioritized list of needs of each business user segment
- Provides deep-dive analysis into business problems and provide actionable insights for the respective teams
- Participates in presentation of reports to key internal or external stakeholders, communicating the key findings
- Builds ad-hoc and standard reports and dashboards to drive consistent data-driven insights
- Identifies problem statements and creates supplementing data to support problem root cause
