Job Title: Social Media Strategist

Location(s): 100% REMOTE

Role Type: W2 ONLY

Contract Length: 7 months with the potential for extension/conversion.

Pay: $35-$39/hr

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Work with Manager to help execute social & content strategy for National Brand Sponsorships line of business across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, etc., to support our brand & business objectives
  • Develop content calendars for all social media content supporting campaigns in accordance with a content strategy
  • Maintain and update artifacts, team trackers and external partner trackers to ensure well-managed oversight of content in development and execution
  • Manage input from cross-functional stakeholders (internal & external partners, creative team, legal, compliance, etc.)
  • Help develop compelling social media content that brings to life key brand associations using a range of National Sponsorships events and access opportunities for cardholders as proof points.
  • Work with community managers to ensure flawless execution, timely response, and consistent voice
  • Handle various project-oriented tasks as needed, such as process improvements, calendar development and execution
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive strategies to identify potential challenges and opportunities in the short and long term

Required Qualifications/Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing of products or services
  • At least 2 years of social media & content marketing experience (content creation, social media advertising, social & brand content strategy)
  • At least 1 year of paid social campaign experience
  • Expertise across all major social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, etc., including knowledge of social media best practices and guidelines
  • Experience developing and executing social creative campaigns across major social platforms – preferably for a large consumer brand
  • Keen process orientation and ability to work independently to resolve problems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with flawless execution while adhering to tight timelines
  • Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams, work autonomously, and navigate ambiguity
  • Skilled relationship-builder with strong aptitude for client relationship management

Desired Qualifications/Experiences:

  • Multi-channel, integrated marketing and/or communications experience
  • Marketing communications experience or advertising experience, including social or digital marketing
  • Experience in financial services, or other highly regulated industry
  • Experience in the Sports, Sponsorships, Event Production, and/or Entertainment industry is a plus
  • Experience handling “real time” events
  • Experience working with influencers or content creators
