Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Project Manager for a contract opening with one of our largest clients!

This is a Contract Opportunity with our company that MUST be worked on a W2 ONLY, NO visa sponsorship or C2C eligibility for this position. The details are below.

Job Title: Project Manager – M&A
Contract: 12 Months+ possibility for extension/conversion
Location: 100% Remote

Job/Role Description:

  • In support of the business integration strategy, responsible for initiating, planning and managing the detailed project plans for the integrations of acquired companies
  • Develop status reports highlighting accomplishments, past due tasks, and tasks which are in jeopardy of becoming past due
  • Managing stakeholder and project sponsor expectations
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues
  • Developing, reviewing and managing change requests
  • Defining project tasks and personnel requirements
  • Effectively assist in directing cross-functional teams to achieve business solutions within project guidelines
  • Facilitating and leading regular status update meetings
  • Collect and manage action items from all team meetings and follow up with team members accordingly
  • Monitor project performance and action items to meet established deadlines and deliverables

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree in Business or related field
  • Proven track record of IT execution of M&A
  • Strong understanding of all talent and technology components, including software and infrastructure, associated with modern-day acquisitions, integrations and divestitures
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with others, to influence based upon knowledge and experience
  • Previous experience as a business or mergers
  • Previous project management experience or certification (such as PMP) experience in M&A due diligence and acquisition integration
  • Work experience in IT, aspects of M&A due diligence and acquisition integration
  • Experience supervising the work of others in direct and indirect reporting relationships
  • Experience in financial analysis (including forecasting and financial modeling) and working within cross-functional project teams
  • Ability to partner at the executive level, able to work independently in a global organization
  • Knowledge of database administration (MS Access, SQL)
  • Must be proficient in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
