Required Qualifications:
• 7+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 4 + years of experience working with PowerDesigner, ER/Studio, ERWin or equivalent modeling tool.
• 4+ years of experience designing and deploying highly performant databases on one of SQL, Teradata, Oracle on premises or cloud.
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Strong Presentation Skills
• Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department
Desired Qualifications:
• Ability to optimize database and application performance both by adoption of database techniques (partitioning, indexing) and query tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with Kafka
• Ability to create deployment scripts and packaged deployments of database changes using automated deployment tools.
• Ability to code in .Net
• Prior experience in the financial industry.
• 5+ years of SSIS experience
• 5+ year experience with Kimball
