Technical Writer (Communications & Training)
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid, 3 Days onsite)
Pay: $55/hr , W2 ONLY
Duration: 24 Months Contract
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications & Training Specialist to support multiple initiatives across a dynamic, change-driven environment. This role requires strong writing, accessibility, and training development skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while aligning with brand standards and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Write, edit, and format clear and compelling internal communications that adhere to company tone, style guides, and brand standards.

Develop training content and facilitate training sessions to support project initiatives, process changes, and organizational readiness.

Ensure all communications and training materials are ADA-compliant and accessible across various formats.

Work closely with stakeholders across departments, including leadership, to gather requirements and communicate updates effectively.

Juggle multiple projects and priorities with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Quickly learn and navigate internal processes and tools to deliver communications that are accurate and aligned with business needs.

Support change management efforts, including the rollout of new systems, processes, or tools, by preparing engaging and informative content.

Leverage Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams) for developing, presenting, and distributing materials.
Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a communications writer or training specialist in a corporate or enterprise environment.

Strong understanding and application of ADA accessibility standards for written and visual content.

Experience applying style guides and maintaining brand voice consistently.

Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training for diverse audiences.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on tight timelines.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with all levels of leadership.

Experience supporting change management and working across multiple concurrent projects.

High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
