Responsible for applying computer science principles and mathematical analysis to design, develop, test, and evaluate software and systems that drive computer operations; collaborate with business stakeholders to understand system requirements and work closely with the development team to build effective, business-centric cloud solutions; perform data collection from diverse sources such as APIs, databases, and spreadsheets; clean and transform data to meet specific requirements; conduct data analysis; use Power BI to visualize insights and suggest modifications as part of continuous improvement efforts; utilize Azure Cloud, Azure Synapse, Git, ServiceNow, OFM, AWS, Power BI, ADO, SQL, and Kanban to perform duties; coordinate database development, determine project scope and constraints, and assess project requests to estimate the time and cost needed to fulfill database user needs; modify and manage existing databases and database management systems, coding logical and physical descriptions as needed; and operate within a Scrum team and actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies, including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Standups, Weekly Standups, and Sprint Retrospectives.Location: Detroit, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;Salary: $156,000 per year;Education: Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Cloud Systems Consultant, as a Systems Administrator, as a Systems Engineer, or in a related occupation;Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years’ use of all the following: Azure Cloud, Azure Synapse, Git, ServiceNow, OFM, AWS, Power BI, ADO, SQL, and Kanban.Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
