Duration: 12 Months
Role Type: W2 contract engagement
Key Skills:
- Network Engineer with proficiency in Cisco
- Prefer Candidates with: Dashboard experience: Power BI, Office 365, Sharepoint, etc
- Cisco, wireless, and NOC experience,Cisco with preference on ISR routers (Industrial space)
- Spectrum (802.11, radio frequency, cellular, WiMAX)
- Level of experience: 3-7 years
- Telecom-Grade devices for utility companies
- Military/Navy communications technical schooling helpful
Job Summary
- Telecommunication designs to support our electrical infrastructure, including substations, pole-tops, and related distribution automation and managing systems.
- Provides Design, Deployment and level 3 engineering support for transport technologies which may include Microwave (Aviat), WiMAX (3.6Ghz and 5Ghz ranges), WAN mesh technologies, Distribution Automation (IoT), and telecommunications for field area networks.
- Provides problem definition and resolution using existing procedures and may develop and enhance Engineering procedures.
- Supports projects to ensure on-time and in-budget implementation to support the achievement of business unit strategic plans for substations and distribution operations communications.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree
