Job Title: Auto Claims Adjuster

Job Description:

This role involves investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and adjusting low complexity auto insurance claims while providing exceptional customer service to our members and their families. The position includes a comprehensive training program and the opportunity for hybrid work after six months.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire and apply basic knowledge of auto coverages, auto physical damage, and liability to evaluate and settle high volume and low complexity auto claims.
- Resolve claims through proactive problem solving and decision making, within authority guidelines and under direct supervision.
- Clearly document thought process including damage evaluation, investigation, negotiation, and settlement decisions.
- Collaborate and set expectations with external and internal business partners to facilitate claims resolution.
- Support members, business partners, and claimants through various communication channels to drive timely and effective resolutions.
- Acquire and apply foundational knowledge of Property and Claims (P&C) insurance industry products and services.
- Support workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including mandatory on-call dates and potential evening, weekend, and/or holiday work
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
