TO BE CONSIDERED PLEASE NOTE THE BELOW WILL BE REQUIRED PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL: Provide video skills- Build a Java application that displays current temperature for multiple US cities in a live demo. The app should allow users to select multiple cities and see current temperature.
Requirements:
- The app should be built using Angular 9+ for the front end and have a Java middle layer to consume data from the API and any additional libraries of your choosing.
- The app should use a public API to retrieve the temperature data. Use https://open-meteo.com/ API or any API of your liking.
- The app should allow the user to select multiple US cities.
- The app should display the temperature for each selected city.
Project Scope:
- Resource will be supporting the further development of internal content management systems.
- System has been integrated with Documentum
Skills Required:
- Strong Development skills in Java and with ability to perform system design and troubleshooting with J2EE, Spring Boot, & Micro Services,
- Ability to utilize experience with Agile and SDLC to create sizing and work estimates
- Looking for demonstrated experience within our modern technology stack including:
- J2EE – application model
- Spring Boot – framework built on java – gives pre-built components for ease of development
- Microservices – form of design and architecture
- CI/CD, continuous integration/ continuous deployment
- Jenkins – code build tool
- Experience with full Software Development Life Cycle using Agile, methodologies.
- Experience on Cloud Technologies (PCF/Azure) will be an advantage (not required)
