Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for Outpatient Professional Coder for a W2 contract opportunity with one of our clients!
Job Title: Outpatient Professional Coder
Duration 3-month contract
Role type: W2 contract engagement, No c2c.
Location: Hybrid
W-2 hourly: upto $25 an hour
Job Description:
Using established coding principles and procedures, reviews, analyzes and codes diagnostic and/or procedural information from the patient’s medical record for reimbursement/billing purposes.
Skill Requirements:
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience coding outpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4, and E&M classification systems is required.
- Proficient with ICD-10-PCS coding.
- LICENSURE: Certified Coder: CPC, COC, CCS, or other applicable coding certification through the AAPC and/or AHIMA required.
Education:
- High school graduate with additional training in ICD-10, CPT-4 and evaluation and management coding – Required
- Certified Coder: CPC, COC, CCS or other applicable coding certification through the AAPC and/or AHIMA – Required
