Job Title: User Experience (UX) Designer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Job Type: Full-Time/Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative User Experience (UX) Designer to develop and execute innovative, user-centered design solutions for applications and tools. This role is critical in shaping the end-to-end user journey, from product concept to release and beyond. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in UX design principles, strong problem-solving abilities, and the drive to lead and influence design across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement user experience solutions that align with product and user goals.

Manage all aspects of UX design—from initial concept through production and ongoing updates.

Create comprehensive UX deliverables including user research findings, personas, wireframes, visual mockups, prototypes, user flows, and navigation structures.

Lead or contribute to complex, high-profile projects and provide direction to design teams when needed.

Conduct user research and apply findings to inform design decisions and test innovative approaches.

Utilize independent judgment to assess risks and ensure the quality of UX deliverables.

Collaborate with product and tech teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs and support during development and testing phases.

Maintain clear project schedules, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.

Identify and solve moderately complex user experience challenges.

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously elevate design solutions.

Foster a collaborative environment by consulting with peers, stakeholders, and management to align on design vision and goals.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field.

4+ years of experience in UX design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of projects.

Proficiency in UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.

Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, research methodologies, and usability best practices.

Experience working in agile or iterative development environments.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with an ability to present and advocate for design decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading design projects or mentoring junior designers.

Familiarity with front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Experience designing enterprise-level or complex web applications.
