Software Asset Manager (Sam Pro)
Role Type: W2 contract, No C2C
Work Authorization: USC/GC candidates only.
Schedule: Remote for the first year and then Hybrid in one of the corporate locations.
Location: Denver, Colorado, Minneapolis, Minnesota
W2 Contract: 12 months and possibility of converting to FTE.
- 5-7 years of Software Asset management
- At least 1 year of SamPro
- At least 2 years of SAP

Job Summary:
The IT Solutions Analyst-SAM will assist with the deployment/implementation of SAMPro as the client moves its software asset management functions to ServiceNow. Significant time will be devoted to populating entitlement information, validating reporting relative the entitlements, determining compliance with agreements, and resolving any discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAMPro Implementation: Contribute to the project implementing ServiceNow SAMPro, as the client moves from FNMS to SAMPro.
- Add entitlement information to SAMPro.
- Validate deployment metrics and work to resolve any discrepancies.
- Determine compliance by comparing entitlements to deployments.
- Execute communications and processes necessary to address compliance issues and other discrepancies.
- Develop/improve integrations with other systems and processes within the environment.
- Relationship Management: Work in strong partnership with the SAM team, partners, and stakeholders across the organization as SAMPro is deployed. Ensure that processes are adhered to, partner concerns are addressed, and objectives are met.
- Operations: Complete assigned tasks on time and in alignment with project deliverables.
- Financial Administration: Administer or assist with the process workflows related to the purchasing of software renewals.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in specific experience using ServiceNow SAM Pro.
- 5+ years of experience utilizing software asset management tools.
- 2+ years of experience using SAP.
- Strong understanding of software licensing for major vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe).
- Experience with ITAM/SAM tools and data normalization.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- ITIL and/or CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager) certification preferred.
Preferred Skills:

- Experience with software discovery tools and integrations.
- Ability to interpret and explain complex licensing terms.
- Project management experience for SAM initiatives.
- Knowledge of cloud licensing (e.g., SaaS, IaaS, PaaS models).
