Job Title: Business Analyst

Position Overview
This role is integral in ensuring the smooth execution of initiatives by maintaining clarity across meetings, documentation, task tracking, and reporting. Ideal candidates are highly organized, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. JIRA Management (Critical)

Understand and follow team-specific JIRA processes and best practices.

Capture key reporting and query field values.
-
Track status of Features, Stories, Tasks, and Issues using JIRA queries and manual reports.
2. Documentation / Requirements Gathering (Critical)
-
Participate in requirements discussions to document key decisions, action items, and requirements.

Convert meeting notes into formal requirement documents in collaboration with Product Managers/Leads.

Proactively follow up with teams on open items via chat or scheduled calls.

Create simple flowcharts to outline operational or system processing flows.
3. Meeting Agenda Management

Work with Product Leads and SMEs to prepare detailed agendas in advance of meetings.

Drive meetings by keeping discussions on track and objectives focused.

Coordinate with stakeholders beforehand to collect updates and materials.
4. Meeting Minutes
-
Take real-time, accurate meeting minutes capturing key decisions and next steps.

Distribute meeting notes promptly as the definitive record of the session.

5. Task Follow-Up

Actively follow up with task owners to drive accountability and ensure progress.

Escalate blockers or risks to the appropriate stakeholders.
6. Reporting

Maintain PowerPoint and Excel-based reports on task status, initiative progress, and milestones.

Provide both tactical (task-level) and strategic (initiative-level) reporting.
7. Knowledge Base Management

Maintain a centralized repository of recurring questions, decisions, and themes.

Continuously update documentation to keep content relevant and useful.
8. Microsoft Office Expertise
-
Advanced use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required to create polished presentations, reports, and documents.
Qualifications
Essential Skills:

Preferred Experience:

Experience in project coordination, product operations, or business analysis.

Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint.

Exposure to financial services or regulated environments.
Years of Experience:

3–5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
