Summary:

Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software
Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software engineering deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Technical Skills:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience
4+ years of experience developing scalable Java-based applications.
4+ years of experience developing or consuming REST based web services.
2+ years working with databases, SQL or Non-SQL
Experience working on Scrum teams; familiarity with the CICD tools.
Hand-on experience with Apache Kafka, Mongo DB, APIGEE gateway, microservices, and event-driven architectures
An industry-standard technology certification
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge and understanding of technology architecture: distributed and client server technologies
Experience with cloud-based computing
Object Oriented Design (OOD) experience
Object Oriented Programming (OOP) experience
Experience with major database engines including Oracle, SQL Server and DB2
Knowledge and understanding of design and development of modern web applications and mobile technologies
Experience building microservices based on event driven architecture and domain driven design
