Job Title: Insurance Quality Assurance Specialist – Commercial Real Estate
Contract: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Quality Assurance Specialist with experience in commercial real estate and property/casualty insurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all insurance-related processes. This position will be pivotal in ensuring that insurance coverage for loans meets all required standards and internal policies while providing top-tier service to customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate and respond to communication from customers, insurance agents, external vendors, and internal personnel regarding insurance coverage on loans.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and/or analytical document reviews to ensure compliance with insurance policies.
- Review loan data integrity reports and verify that all procedures are following agency, internal controls, and company policies.
- Utilize specific criteria to ensure quality assure and report metric results, providing feedback on a weekly/monthly basis to management and the team.
- Identify and present recommendations for procedural improvements to management.
- Support management with miscellaneous functions within the Insurance Team, including project coordination and ensuring smooth operations.
- Manage and oversee the quality of insurance-related documentation, including Blanket Insurance and multi-layer insurance policies, Self-insured Retention programs.
- Ensure proper understanding and application of insurance terminology and related loan documents.
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in insurance, with a focus on commercial real estate.
- 3+ years of commercial real estate experience, particularly in property and casualty insurance.
- 2+ years of quality assurance experience, with a proven ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in processes.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while delivering results.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a critical thinking approach to challenges.
- Customer service experience and a professional demeanor in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of Blanket Insurance, multi-layer insurance policies, Self-insured Retention programs, and related terminologies.
- Familiarity with insurance-related loan documentation.
Additional Skills:
- Strong technical, analytical, and process expertise, with the ability to handle complex insurance policies and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, interact with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance-related software.
