Production Support Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: $50/hr W2 ONLY
Duration: 12+ Months
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working in a SRE team
- 2+ years of experience in supporting cloud applications on
- GCP, Azure, or OpenShift 2+ years of experience in SDLC process and software development
- 3+ years of experience in Automation using Unix shell scripting, Python, and similar tech stack
- 3+ years of experience in Autosys
- 3+ years of experience in databases – Oracle, MSSQL, Teradata, or MongoDB,
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in ETL – Informatica,
- Ab Initio
- Experience in Enterprise Data Lake – SPARK, MapR, Hive Experience in Java, Java Script, Net, Talend
- 3+ years of experience in Observability to setup monitoring using Elastic APM, App Dynamics, and visualization using Grafana dashboards
Responsibilities:
- Develop scripts to automate and reduce toil and failures
- Monitor application health, batch and feed management
- Setup monitoring and develop dashboards
- Lead or triage major incidents management, and investigate and troubleshoot failures
- Perform problem management to identify root cause and implement preventative actions through monitoring and automation
- Support disaster recovery exercise
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, vendors, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
