Cyber Security Analyst – Operations
Charlotte, NC – hybrid onsite 3 days in office
12 months – W2 Rate $53-55/hr
Day to Day:
This role will support operational aspects, like resource allocation, timelines, workforce planning, and budgeting.
- Must bring “utility” support with someone who can jump in on a range of Office of the CISO tasks including but not limited to: business management, expense management, workforce reporting, project management.
- Must have experience within the following areas: project management and business management experience in a cybersecurity department / organization at a large financial institution
- ad hoc requests from any business services lead in Cybersecurity (across any domains)
Project Management:
- Developing timelines, action plans, and roadmaps for Cyber projects.
- Tracking progress in Jira following agile methodologies.
- Dealing proactively with roadblocks and escalations.
Headcount Reporting:
- Tracking team size, turnover, and hiring progress for a cybersecurity department or organization.
- Analyzing workforce capacity and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Partnering with HR and recruiting teams for talent acquisition.
Expense Management:
- Budget planning for cybersecurity projects, tools, and operations.
- Monitoring and reporting on cybersecurity spend against budget forecasts.
- Justifying budget needs to senior leadership or finance teams.
