Job Title: Construction Supervisor
Contract: 24 Months
Location: Tampa, FL
Job/Role Description:
- Lead and oversee solar and construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules, resource plans, and budget forecasts.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to align project objectives and expectations.
- Manage and supervise all subcontractors, including mechanical, electrical, and civil teams, ensuring all work meets project specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct daily job scope meetings and weekly progress reviews to address site concerns and strategize effective solutions.
- Conduct QA/QC inspections, ensuring all work is performed according to blueprints and quality standards.
- Lead safety meetings and enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and making financial decisions to optimize project outcomes.
- Handle RFIs, change orders, and other financial documentation to ensure accurate and timely project accounting.
- Utilize ProCore software to manage all project documentation, including site photos, daily reports, and safety records.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork, such as equipment inspections and inventory reports, is completed accurately and on time.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience in construction and solar project management, with a strong track record of successfully completed projects.
- Extensive knowledge of solar energy systems, construction methodologies, and heavy equipment operation.
- Certifications in Superintendent Management, OSHA 10 & 30, CPR AED, and Green Awareness.
- Proficiency with Procore software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Smartsheet.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience: - Over 5 years of experience in the construction and solar industries, including roles such as Project Superintendent, Site Superintendent, and Construction Manager.
- Significant hands-on experience managing solar installations ranging from 5MW to 200MW.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee complex projects involving multiple subcontractors and teams.
Education: - GED in General Education Development
- Relevant certifications and training in project management, safety, and heavy equipment operation.
