Job Title: Onboarding Operations Associate
Location: Cohoes, NY
Job Type: Full Time Contract. NO Corp to Corp
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving pending client requests, ensuring that all necessary authorizations and supporting documentation are in place and comply with policy requirements. You will coordinate and process team-specific tasks, interface with various teams to resolve issues, and apply sound business judgment to identify and escalate any unusual or suspicious activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Request Review: Evaluate and approve client requests to ensure compliance with policy requirements, including verifying proper authorizations and supporting documentation.
- Task Coordination: Coordinate and execute specific tasks as requested by the business, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- System Navigation: Work across multiple systems and platforms to process tasks and resolve issues.
- Team Collaboration: Interface with various teams and businesses to resolve ongoing issues and answer specific policy-related questions.
- Special Projects: Provide support for and contribute to special projects as needed.
- Risk Management: Apply business judgment to identify unusual or suspicious activities and escalate issues to the appropriate channels.
- Policy Adherence: Understand and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including those related to quality, client service, information security, and compliance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Windows, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Advanced knowledge of Excel is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex situations and solve problems effectively.
- Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and maintain flexibility under pressure.
- Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-Motivation: A self-driven individual with a proactive approach to work.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Required; a concentration in Business, Finance, or Accounting is preferred.
- Experience: Relevant experience in operations, client services, or a related field is a plus.
