S3 is seeking a Deskside Support Technician (Apple iOS) for one of our longstanding partners! This role is ONSITE and requires travel to various locations in the local area, so candidates MUST HAVE a valid drivers license and reliable transportation (mileage is reimbursable).

Location: Decatur, IL

Role Type: W-2 Only, No C2C

Contract Length: 6 months w/potential extension

Pay: up to $28/hr.

  • Supports large scale migration from UEMAirwatch to InTune for  ~5,000 iPhones and iPads at various locations.
  • Coordinates with leadership at each location, performing the migrations on the datetimes scheduled, and tracking status & completion. 
  • Performs factory resets on the mobile device, then sets it back up, and validating functionality afterward along troubleshooting any issues. 
  • Installs and configures apps on iPhonesiPads.
  • Enrolls the device InTune, installing and setup of MFA, Outlook, and Teams. Performs installation and setup of other job specific applications for iPad users.
  • Sets up new iPhones andor new SIM cards and verifies cellular connectivity.
  • Performs prep work ahead of each site’s migration.
  • Updates tracking system with status updates and completion.
  • Performs system updates as a part of each migration (i.e. transfer of licenses, removing device from old MDM system, etc.)


  • Apple support experience (iPhoneiPad) preferred but not required.
  • Normal deskside support experience providing hardware and software support with at least 2+ years of experience.
  • Service Desk experience will be considered in lieu of deskside support based on level of support that they provided, especially if their help desk experience involved iPhoneiPad support.
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple locations up to 2 hours away (mileage is reimbursable).
  • Soft skillscommunication skills are important as they will be in front of our coworkers working directly with them in person.
